The Storyteller

A match struck and broke the silence. Blue light illuminated the outline of long hair and beard.

"Tedious" was the one word spoken as voice gave way to face and was held by the night until a slight sea breeze took it away. "Two people who thought they were nothing have come to pass" The storyteller breathed into his palm and sparked the ember into a strong flame.

He placed the energy into the kindling as he painted the thought with voice.

The consciousness is incomplete without the two parts being joined.

his words built the fire.

"Are you saying there is no such thing as male and female?"

The storyteller never looked up, never showing his eyes

He was little more than a reflection in a mirror and soon to be nothing but a vague thought.

"Tedious" he repeated.

Tobias woke up.
